CSAFI Calls for Sector-Wide Adoption of Baseline OT Security Controls
An official position statement urging food manufacturers to adopt a common minimum standard for plant-floor security.

The Cybersecurity Association of the Food Industry today called on food manufacturers worldwide to adopt a common set of baseline operational-technology (OT) security controls, warning that inconsistent protection of plant-floor systems leaves the entire supply chain exposed.
“A single under-protected facility can become the entry point that disrupts an entire distribution network,” said a CSAFI spokesperson. “A shared minimum standard is the fastest way to raise the floor for everyone.”
The association has published a free baseline-controls guide and is inviting member and non-member organisations alike to align with it.
