Building a security culture on the plant floor
Technology alone will not protect a food producer. The people running the line have to be part of the defence.

Ask any food manufacturer where their biggest cyber risk lives and the honest answer is rarely a firewall. It is the shift supervisor who props a door open for the maintenance vendor, or the operator who reuses a password across three HMIs.
A security culture is built one habit at a time. It starts by making the secure path the easy path — badge readers that work, password managers provisioned by IT, and a way to report something odd without fear of blame.
The most effective programmes treat the plant floor as a partner, not a problem. When operators understand why a rule exists, they stop working around it.
